Youth Enrichment and Support (YES) is a ministry supporting children and families experiencing poverty, in partnership with local agencies doing this meaningful work in our community.
Why This Ministry Matters
- 22% of children who have lived in poverty (even temporarily) drop out of school, compared to the overall dropout rate of 6%
- High-poverty districts spend 15.6% less on each student than more affluent districts, resulting in less student retention and lower earning potential
- As of 2023, Nashua had the 2nd highest rate of students enrolled in free lunch in New Hampshire, 2nd only to Manchester
The YES ministry reflects our commitment to seek and serve Christ in all persons — especially those who are most vulnerable in our community.
